WELCOME: The Harmony Hallers Genealogy Club (HHGC), which is open to the public, meets at the above Livingston Road address. No pre-registration is required. The proposed program for the upcoming 2011-2012 season is a Genealogy Seminar Series, as follows:

Tuesday, January 10, 2012 Program: Methods of Genealogical Research Using 'Old Military Records' at the National Archives
Presenter: Damani Davis, who is an archivist at the National Archives. He has lectured at local, regional and national conferences on African American history and genealogy.
Tuesday, February 7, 2012 Program: Census Records: Research and Analysis
Presenter: Edwin Washington, who is an Information Technology Specialist with over thirty years of genealogical experience. He is a former vice president and newsletter editor of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS), James Dent Walker Chapter, and has conducted numerous programs and classes on various genealogical topics.
Tuesday, April 10, 2012 Program: Researching Slave Ancestry Presenter: Carolyn C. Rowe, who is a former president of the PG Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS). She is an experienced historian and genealogist who has traced numerous family lines and conducted many seminars and programs on the local and national levels.
